All students and attendees of Ronin jiu jitsu & judo are expected to follow these codes of conduct to maintain safety and peace.

1. Hygiene is Key: Maintain good personal hygiene by showering before class and wearing clean, washed, and odor-free training gear. Keep your nails trimmed to avoid accidental scratches.

2. Prioritize safety at all times: Listen attentively to your instructor's guidance during drills and sparring, and always train within your and your partner's skill level to prevent unnecessary injuries.

3. Respect and Kindness: Treat all fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect and kindness. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment, where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

4. Leave Egos at the Door: Martial arts are about personal growth and learning. Leave your ego behind and focus on improving yourself rather than trying to dominate or intimidate your training partners.

5. Clean Up After Yourself: After training, make sure to clean up your training area and put away any equipment or gear you've used. Help keep the gym organized and ready for the next class.

6. Mindful Rolling: When rolling or sparring, be aware of your partner's safety. Apply techniques with control and avoid using excessive force. Tap out early if caught in a submission to prevent injury.

7. Supportive Environment: Help maintain a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all members. Encourage and uplift your training partners, regardless of their skill level, or background.
